Legacy of Baba Ayilara.
Who Was Alhaji Uthman Adegboyega Abolarin (RahimahuLlaah)?
Alahji Uthman Adegboyega Abolarin (rahimahuLlaah) was a devoted lover of the Qur’an — a man who recited its verses with deep connection, even until his final breath. He was known for his nightly prayers, consistently rising for tahajjud, seeking closeness to his Lord in solitude and sincerity. Quiet in his ways but generous to a fault, he gave without seeking recognition, always looking out for those in need.
Baba was more than a father to his biological children; he extended his love and care to many others, raising and mentoring them with wisdom, compassion, and discipline. He was a guide, a mentor, and a true friend — a man whose legacy lives on through the lives he touched.

Legacy of Baba Ayilara.
The Uthman Adegboeyga Abolarin Memorial Foundation (UTAMEF) is more than an organization—it is a living testament to the life, values, and enduring legacy of our beloved father, Alhaji Uthman Adegboyega Abolarin, fondly known as Baba Ayilara.
Baba Ayilara was a man of quiet strength, deep piety, and unwavering generosity. A devoted Muslim, he was known for his constant connection to the Qur’an, his nightly tahajjud prayers, and his commitment to the spiritual and moral well-being of those around him. Whether biological or not, Baba treated every child under his care as his own, raising them with love, discipline, and faith.
Through the Foundation, we continue what he lived for—uplifting the less privileged, supporting Islamic education, promoting values of humility and service, and being a light in our communities. Each project we undertake—be it in education, charity, water provision, or Zakat distribution—is inspired by his example and dedicated to honoring his memory.
We pray that the fruits of this work continue to serve as ṣadaqah jāriyah (ongoing charity) for his soul, and a beacon of hope for generations to come.
